About me

A very new friend told me I need an About Me page. So here goes.
I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and most importantly a Nana. I love my family with all of my heart and started this blog because I wanted to record memories for my grandkids. My Dad was killed when my Mom was still in her twenties with five little girls to raise and we have had many trials along the way in our life. I refuse to let the bad take over the good in all things and want to instill that in my grandkids. I also work in the automobile industry and mostly love my job. I have had to have both knees replaced in the last year and tell of those trials.
In this blog you will read many things about what a family does with life and how they handle it.

  1. I am delighted to have the pleasure of being the first to comment on your about page.

I’d love to find out more about your mom. She must have worked so hard to raise you and your sisters, and do such a great job of it.

I’m sorry that I am joining your story having missed so much but I look forward to what is to come.

    • Sorry it took so long for me to properly thank you for such a kind comment. We have been going through some things around here and I haven’t had much time to put myself in front of the computer. Thank you again.

    • The blog has been silent because of family problems not me. I sometimes don’t say anything here because I hate to see it in black and write. It affects how I feel when I sit at the computer screen. Thanks so much for caring. It means a lot to me. We will be back soon I hope.

  2. Midlife Collage is looking for submissions in our free-entry contests. We run weekly, online writing contests for a cash prize. Perhaps you would be eligible and interested in submitting a short story. Please see our Submissions page for the guidelines and contest rules. Go to our Calendar page and watch the short videos for topic ideas.

I love hearing from you so please comment
